The most significant part of Breitling’s history is its connection with aviation and the brand is suitably proud of its domination in this aspect. But Breitling does not just live off its remarkable history. The brand has been a trendsetter and innovator in a lot of areas of watch manufacturing. For example, the company was one of the very first watch makers to abandon the previously common gilt casing and started using stainless steel instead.
